Oregon Educational Publishing was established in 1998 by a high school math teacher who discovered there was a serious lack of materials developed specifically to help students prepare for the new state standardized math tests that were then becomming common in most states. The first materials were developed for Oregon and were later revised for Washington, and are now in use in over 170 schools in
these states.
Jim Harrison, the author of these materials, is a retired math teacher living in Sisters, Oregon. He has over 30 year of experience teaching Mathematics, Computer Science and Music in Oregon schools.
